Personal Insurance Broker - Dryden

We are currently looking for a hardworking, independent and highly motivated individual to join our team of dedicated insurance professionals at our Dryden office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing client requests for routine policy endorsements, renewals or cancellations, and log all business activities with utmost accuracy, and will be required to obtained a license as a Registered Insurance Broker in Ontario. The ability to work within a team environment is a must.

Qualifications

 Professional demeanor and extraordinary customer service skills

 Effective and professional communication skills; both written and verbal

 Strong organizational skills with an ability to re-prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

 Experience working under pressure and maintaining composure in a fast paced and changing environment

 Must be willing to participate in ongoing training and education

 Significant computer aptitude, and working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel

Administrator / Receptionist - Kenora

The Standard Insurance Brokers is currently looking to hire one full time Administrator/Receptionist in our busy Kenora office.

The Administrator/Receptionist must be able to work independently on a wide variety of administrative tasks and projects. The successful candidate will provide assistance with general office duties in a busy environment with ongoing disruptions.

Human Resources Coordinator - Kenora

We are currently looking for a hardworking, independent and highly motivated individual to join our team of dedicated insurance professionals at our Kenora office. The successful candidate will work with management teams to set and accomplish corporate human resources goals and strategies. The ability to work within a team environment is a must.

Your Key Responsibilities
 Respond to employee HR inquiries or concerns
 Provide support for payroll and benefits administrators in their duties
 Maintain all HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
 Actively participate in the recruitment process. Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence and contracts
 Coordinate and facilitate the entire life cycle of our employees from pre-boarding to off-boarding. Preparing and maintaining all documentation relating to this life cycle.
 Support the annual performance management and compensation review process
 Contribute to the development of a positive culture within the organization
 Provide support on various HR related projects

Qualifications
 Post-secondary education in a related field
 2 - 3 years’ experience in human resources
 High level of professionalism and confidentiality
 Effective and professional communication skills; both written and verbal
 Strong organizational skills with an ability to re-prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
 Must be willing to participate in ongoing training and education
 Significant computer aptitude, and working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
